Advantages of Silicon Carbide in Coatings
Jun 09, 2022
1. High emissivity: High emissivity nano-silicon carbide is used as the main radiation powder, and other auxiliary materials are reasonably prepared. The normal emissivity of the coating reaches 0.92, which is less dependent on temperature, so it can be used in a wide temperature range. Energy-saving efficiency is exerted in the area, and stable radiation can be maintained even at 1400°C.
2. Wide applicability: suitable for resistance furnaces, gas furnaces, oil furnaces, etc., and can be widely used in steel heating furnaces, continuous quenching furnaces, forging furnaces, ceramic furnaces, refractory sintering furnaces, etc.
3. Protect the wall: when the coating is above 1000 ℃, it will be sintered into a metallic enamel, solidified on the surface of the hot material, and not easy to peel off,It can protect refractory bricks and castables, and greatly prolong the service life of furnace lining.
4. Prevent dust falling: The composite binder is used to form a solid sintered layer on the surface of the furnace wall after sintering, which solves the problem of slag and dirt.
5. Non-volatile: The low-volatile binder and radiation base material are used, which will not produce volatiles during the use of the kiln, and will not cause pollution to the product.
6. Energy saving effect: shorten the heating time by 8%-20%; reduce the exhaust gas temperature: 10%-20%; improve the thermal efficiency by 5%-10%, and save energy by 10%-20%.
