Fine-tuning the particle size of the carburizer is the key to slightly adjusting the carbon equivalent of the molten iron in a short time (usually within 5 minutes). The smaller the particle, the faster the heating, the faster the disintegration and absorption, and the faster the carbon replenishment. However, it should be noted that the powdery material in the particles should not be too much, otherwise it will easily float on the surface of the molten iron, and will easily burn too much, which will affect the absorption. Practice has proved that the particle size of 0.2-1mm is the most appropriate fine-tuning process.
