There are many coarse over-co-graphite in the pig, which has hereditary graphite, low melting temperature, and thick graphite is not easy to be eliminated. The thick graphite is from liquid genetics to solid-state cast iron tissue. On the one hand, it can reduce the strength of the cast iron, reducing the properties of the material, and on the other hand, it can weaken the expand effect which occures from the graphitized during cast iron solidification process.
At the melting of the heavenly furnace, try to reduce the amount of the cast iron furnace, use a carbonaceous agent to ensure high carbon equivalents, and relatively increase the amount of scrap steel. Thus, under the conditions of high temperature smelting, this carburcarburization can obtain a good activity, and the graphitization is more remarkable. The form of graphite is reflected on the casting, thereby facilitating improving mechanical properties, reducing shrinkage tendency, improving processing properties.
When the electric furnace is smelted, the high-quality iron solution is obtained by low iron amount or even zero dosage.
From the material performance, the past has a large proportion of pig iron usage, and the power performance is low half a card compared to the amount of high-waste steel equivalent. Therefore, new processes that add carburizer (especially low sulfur low carbon graphite carburizer) are superior to the cost or finished product performance than conventional proportions.
