Continuous Production Process Of Graphitized Carburizer
Apr 07, 2022
Graphitized carburizer is a carbon-increasing raw material. A certain amount of graphitized recarburizer is added during the smelting process to increase the carbon content in molten iron and improve the mechanical properties of metal castings. With the use of graphitized carburizers in the smelting industry It has been widely used, and it has also become an indispensable auxiliary additive for modern production of high-quality castings.
The calcined petroleum coke is lifted to the furnace top silo of the vertical graphitization furnace through the elevator, and the calcined petroleum coke in the furnace top silo enters the vertical graphitization furnace through its own gravity from the discharge port. According to the technical requirements, Power is supplied to the vertical graphitization furnace. The electrical resistance of the calcined petroleum coke itself is used to convert the electric energy into the furnace into heat energy. With the discharge of the lower part of the graphitization furnace, the material layer in the furnace gradually moves down, and the calcined petroleum coke is gradually heated to 2500~3000℃ , high temperature graphitization is carried out, at this time, the lattice transformation of carbon atoms occurs, the moisture and volatile matter in the material are removed, and a high-quality high-performance carbon material with stable thermal properties is obtained.
After graphitization, the high-performance carbon material moves down gradually, and the temperature of the material is lowered to room temperature after being gradually cooled by the water-cooled wall, water-cooled support and bottom water-cooled material pan around the lower part of the vertical graphitization furnace body. After cooling, it is discharged through the discharge equipment at the bottom of the graphitized furnace body to become a graphitized recarburizer.
